James, worn out after a swimming competition in London, had prepared for a peaceful eight-hour flight with earplugs and sleeping pills. However, his hopes for rest were shattered when a demanding woman, later dubbed “Karen,” sat next to him.
From the moment Karen boarded, she complained loudly about being “squished” between James and the window passenger. Despite the flight being fully booked, she demanded that all three of them be moved to more spacious seats. Her complaints continued as she pressed the flight attendant call button repeatedly and loudly voiced her discomfort, even accusing her seatmates of violating her human rights.
