Sandra Bullock Says She Is ‘In Awe’ Of Keanu Reeves — Reveals His Thoughtful Gift To Her 27 Years Ago

Keanu Reeves is known for his kindness, and one thoughtful gesture from 27 years ago proves just how sweet he is. While filming Speed in 1994, Sandra Bullock mentioned to Keanu that she had never tried truffles or champagne. Keanu, being the caring friend he is, surprised her by showing up at her doorstep with champagne, truffles, and flowers. Sandra recalls hearing his motorcycle pull up and him saying, “I just thought you might want to try champagne and truffles, to see what it’s like.” This act of kindness was just one example of Keanu’s considerate nature.

Although Sandra and Keanu never dated, they shared a close friendship. Sandra admitted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she had a crush on him, but they never pursued a romance. Keanu responded, “She obviously didn’t know I had a crush on her either,” explaining, “we were working.” Sandra appreciates Keanu’s genuineness and describes him as someone who is friends with every woman he’s ever dated, with no one having anything bad to say about him.

Keanu’s actions and words continue to impress Sandra, who admires him as one of a kind. Their friendship remains strong, with both actors growing together over the years.
