Jobless Mom-Of-12 Known As ‘Queen Of Benefits’ Who Collects $50k Per Year Gets Dose Of Karma

Note: we are republishing this story, which originally made the news in October 2016.

An English mother of 12, Cheryl Prudham, 34, allegedly stole over $12,000 in change from parking meters. Previously dubbed the “Queen of Benefits” for collecting $49,000 a year in welfare, Cheryl was also spotted shopping for a Mercedes earlier this year.

Her estranged husband, Robert Prudham, 31, is charged with stealing $12,886 from parking meters and failing to disclose past convictions. Cheryl is accused of handling the stolen cash. Along with Jacob Undertown, 27, they deny the allegations and will stand trial in November.

Cheryl, a part-time cleaner, had six children from two men before having six more with Robert. Their relationship ended after she caught him in a threesome with his cousin. Despite this, she now plans to have another child via a sperm donor, claiming she’s addicted to pregnancy.

When married, Cheryl and Robert reportedly earned $73,626 a year while avoiding a $31,899 benefits cap. By having a 13th child, she could claim more benefits. She also intends to use extra funds for breast enhancement and a tummy tuck, saying, “Having babies makes me happy.”
