Li Wei, feeling sick, calls his boss, Mr. Zhang, to say he can’t work. Mr. Zhang responds, “When I’m sick, I spend time with my wife—it makes me feel better. You should try that!”
A couple of hours later, Li Wei, still unwell but intrigued, visits Mr. Zhang’s home. Mrs. Zhang welcomes him and offers tea and soup. After spending time there, Li Wei feels much better. He calls his boss to thank him and says, “By the way, you have a lovely home.”
Mr. Zhang is taken aback, asking, “My home?”
Li Wei casually replies, “Yes, I spent time with your wife, just like you suggested!”
