Chris, an 18-year-old warehouse worker, often saw a scruffy Shiba Inu named Ollie standing by the door of a closed bike shop. Curious about the dog’s behavior, Chris learned that Ollie had once belonged to the shop owner, who had been missing for weeks. Ollie, looking well-groomed and friendly, seemed to be waiting for his owner to return.

One day, Chris noticed Ollie would grab the food he offered and run off with it. Assuming Ollie was feeding puppies, Chris was puzzled when the dog grew thinner.
