Though Hardy didn’t call out his target specifically, some fans have drawn a connection to pop artist Macklemore, who made critical statements about America during a show last week, which led to him to be dropped by a festival in Las Vegas.
Hardy’s pro-American tirade was well-received by his country music audience, with many fans taking to social media to vocalize their appreciation to the “Wait in the Truck” singer for speaking out.
Hardy released a new album called Quit!! in July. He will be playing a charity concert in early October, Miranda Lambert’s Music for Mutts show in Nashville.
