AOC Mocked For Spewing Falsehoods During House Floor Rant

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., faced a viral roast campaign after an impassioned speech on the House floor Tuesday, in which she made false claims about Republicans and the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act.”

In her two-minute rant, Ocasio-Cortez criticized Republicans for voting against the “Violence Against Women Act” and for their stance on abortion. She also claimed that the bill would expose girls to sexual predators, making unsubstantiated remarks about genital examinations. However, the bill does not include such provisions.

The bill passed with 216 Republicans and two Democrats voting in favor, while 206 Democrats, including Ocasio-Cortez, voted against it.
