Once, in a small village, a poor man named Ahmed grew frustrated with his wife Fatima’s constant complaints about their financial struggles. One day, he decided, “I’m leaving for Africa to find work and change our lives.”
The next morning, Ahmed kissed Fatima goodbye and set off with hope. In Africa, he worked hard in various jobs, slowly improving his situation. Over the years, he sent letters to Fatima, but they became less frequent as he got busier.
After many years, Ahmed saved enough money to return home. When he arrived, he was surprised to see their house improved, with fresh paint, new windows, and a garden. But the woman at the door was not the Fatima he remembered. She was confident, well-dressed, and much heavier.
“Fatima, is that really you?” Ahmed asked, shocked.
Fatima smiled, “Yes, it’s me. You look surprised.”
She explained, “While you were away, I started a small business with help from a neighbor. I invested in our home and my future. Life is better now.”
Ahmed realized that while he had worked hard to save their family, Fatima had done the same to improve her life. They both had contributed to their success, and together, they decided to use their new wealth to build an even brighter future. They learned that true success comes from working together as a team.
