Prayers for Steven Tyler

After suffering significant injuries during his most recent performance, Steven Tyler will take a break from performing.

A statement from Tyler’s crew claims that he hurt himself while singing during an Aerosmith event in Long Island.

After his performance, Tyler went to Boston to see his ENT physician, who x-rayed the singer’s vocal cords and discovered that they were “mangled,” according to TMZ. Steven Tyler’s vocal cords are thought to have been hurt early in his performance, although he managed to finish his set. In fact, he concealed his discomfort so skillfully that spectators were unaware of it.

According to a source, Tyler is currently unable to communicate at all; only “squeaks” are audible. His ENT physician has advised vocal rest for at least 30 days. In his message, Tyler said, “To all of our fans, ‘I’m heartbroken to say I have gotten severe doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days. During the performance on Saturday, I damaged my voice cords, which caused further hemorrhage. A handful of our performances will need to be postponed so that we can return and give you the show you deserve.

Despite the lack of additional details, a source informed TMZ that “Steven is an animal. He cannot be stopped. That hopefully signifies that once Tyler takes care of himself, he will return stronger than before.
