A pregnant mother of three, Anne Sargent, sat on her kitchen floor and cried. Her husband, Derek, had abandoned her, leaving her to care for their children alone. Once a happy wife, she now struggled to make ends meet, working part-time and selling her treasured possessions just to feed her kids.
