Ellen’s decision follows the end of The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2022, which faced workplace misconduct allegations. Though she denied many claims, they impacted her public image. Seeking a quieter life, she and wife Portia de Rossi have distanced themselves from American celebrity culture.
