Stories of Family Members Who Love Causing Trouble

Like it or not, you can’t choose your family. This means life is full of both good and bad surprises because you never know what your family members might do.

The Story:

Once, my mom and I were staying with my aunt when I was about 5 years old. One day, my aunt thought I had stolen her money. There was an envelope in a book, and then it was gone. Who was guilty? It had to be me!

They asked me so many questions and made me feel guilty. After a couple of weeks, I even started to believe that I had taken the envelope but forgot where I put it. My mom even threatened to call the police on me.

When we were on the train going home, my aunt called my mom and said in an innocent voice, “Oh, I found the envelope in one of my books. I forgot that I put it there myself.” My mom apologized to me for what happened, but I couldn’t trust her anymore.
