People Who Could Be on “Fear Factor” After Having Guests Over

Having guests can be nice, but sometimes they behave badly. While you’re making tea and snacks for them, they might go through your things, break something, or eat all the food in your fridge. So, next time, you might prefer to meet at a cafe—or not meet at all.

The Story:

Some friends came over to our house, and one of the guys brought a girl we didn’t know. We were all sitting at the table, eating and talking, but the girl kept getting up and going somewhere during the evening. It was strange, but we didn’t say anything.

Then, I went to the kitchen, opened the bottom drawer in the cupboard, and my jaw dropped! She had stuffed her used sanitary pads in there, right on top of my cleaning supplies and brushes. I felt sick.

I pulled her into the kitchen and asked, “What is this? There’s a garbage bin—just wrap it up and throw it away. Why would you put it in the drawer with the cleaning stuff?” She looked at me like it was no big deal and said, “I didn’t want the men to see it.” I made her clean it up, throw it away, and leave. That was her last visit, of course.
