16-Year-Old Hockey Player Colin Brown Dies Days After Road Incident – Details

November 27, a media outlet reported the death of a 16-year-old hockey player named Colin Brown. According to First Alert 4, Brown passed away days after he was shot on Interstate 55 in St. Louis, Missouri.

The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m., and police believe he was struck by a stray bullet. Brown’s father tried to assist him, but Brown was critically injured. EMT trainee Lily Paniucki and her friend were nearby and helped administer CPR until emergency services arrived. Despite efforts to save him, Brown passed away on November 27. His organs were donated, reflecting his wish to help others.

Police are investigating the shooting and have asked locals to check security footage from the time. They are offering a $5,000 reward for information. Brown’s family has expressed hope that his death will give others a chance at life, and tributes have poured in from his school, hockey team, and the St. Louis Blues. A fundraiser has been established to support his family during their grief.
